Just south of Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s most famous landmarks: the Palm. This collection of artificial islands can be seen from space, and is home to some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and apartments. Head to the islands for the experience, and visit some of the resident attractions and nature parks. Hotels on the islands do cost more than in other areas, but add a unique twist to your Dubai holiday. If your budget doesn't stretch that far, you can still nip in for a cocktail!
For the perfect evening walk, head to the Marina. Stroll alongside the water, and marvel at the city’s skyline, its contrasting colours and its authentic Arabian charm. Smoke sheesha and while away the warm nights in one of many restaurants, cafes or street food outlets.
The Marina is also home to the Mall of the Emirates, complete with over 500 shops, from high street to high couture, as well as cinemas, food vendors, a bowling alley and the Ski Dubai Snow Park.
